     Norma Jean Thompson, 62, of Hendersonville, NC passed away
peacefully in her sleep, Tuesday, June 17, 2008 after an extended illness.

     She had lived in Henderson County for most of her life and was
preceded in death by her husband, William Thompson.

     She was a member of Mud Creek Baptist Church and was employed
with Whitley Drugs for 14 years.

     She is survived by a son, William “Billy” King and wife Cricket of
Hendersonville; a daughter, Debbie Hill and husband Dwayne of Flat
Rock; four grandchildren, Amber and Christi Hill and Loren and Lucas
King and several nieces and nephews.

     A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Monday, June 23, 2008
at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Rev. Anthony Craver officiating.

     Donations may be made to Hendersonville Dialysis, 500 Beverly
Hanks Center, Hendersonville, NC 28739.

     Jackson Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.
