Milas Fidelity "Mood" Stepp, 89, of Hendersonville, died Saturday, August 30, 2008 at McCulloughs Rest Home.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Henderson County the son of the late David and Gladys Mae Hyder Stepp and was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Aileen Skiver Stepp.
He owned and operated Stepp’s Grocery.
He is survived by a son, Wayne Stepp and wife Freida of Hendersonville; two daughters, Patricia Ann Crane and husband Thomas of Hendersonville and Connita Sue Middleton and husband Joe of Santee, SC; a sister, Java Benison and husband Jimmy of Hendersonville and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to Dr. Betsy Merrell, Dr. Ivy Pandit and Joyce and Joe Fugate.
A graveside service will be held 1:00 pm Monday, September 01, 2008 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made in his name to the New Beginning Baptist Church Steeple Fund: 29 Marlowe Drive: Fletcher, NC 28732.
