Pre-Arrange

Why Pre-Arrange

There are many different reasons why you should pre-arrange your funeral. Pre-arranging your funeral is much easier it is to do now, then it is to do at the time of need, both emotionally and mentally. Your family and loved ones won't have to hassle through information and hard decisions on top of their grief of losing you.

Also, when you pre-arrange you have the choice to pre-pay all the funeral expenses, so you do not have to worry about your family having to pay.

Last, it's a good way to be sure that your final wishes are carried through. If your family is unaware or unclear on what you want, a good possibility is that your final wishes will not be carried through. A will is not opened until the estate is settled, which is usually a couple months after the funeral, so writing your wishes on your will may not be the best idea. Pre-arranging with your funeral home will have all your plans, wishes, and ideas down, and held in the funeral home records until needed. Plus, you always have a choice to come back and alter the plans if you see needed.

Another advantage to pre-arranging is that the we do it at your convenience. You can make an appointment at any time, and we can even come to you to make the pre-arrangements.

What is the difference between pre-arranging and pre-paying?

Pre-arranging is basically just putting your wishes onto paper.  There is no contract for pre-arranging.

Pre-paying is a contract agreement, where you pay for your funeral ahead of time, and the funeral home locks in those expenses, making them inflation proof.
