Susan G. Moore
Susan G. Moore, 77, of Flat Rock entered into Heaven on Monday, January 11, 2010 from Park Ridge Hospital and is now resting in the hands of the Lord.
Born on January 01, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Lena Murphy Goforth. She was preceded in death by her son James Robert Brown who died in 2002, one brother Ben Edward Goforth and two sisters, Ethel Goforth and Mary Catherine Campbell.
She was a previous resident of East Winds Apartment where she had a very special friend Ann McDaniels.
Suvivors include one son Bobby Joe Brown of Candler NC, Two daughters, Marilyn Lanier and her husband Johnny of Dallas NC, and Norma Scarborough and her husband Rick of Flat Rock NC, one brother, Arthur Sonny Goforth , three sisters Marilyn Lambert of Cherokee NC, Velma Faye Davis of Enka and Hazel Bradley of Rainsville W. VA. , eleven grandchildren, Tracy Lynn Wells{ Ray} Travis Allen Brown, Kristin Marino { William} Bobby Joe Brown II, Tonya Dawn Harris [ Shane] Timothy Steven Roseberry [ Jennifer] Lisa Huckbee [ Darrell] Tracy Lanier, Shawn Scarborough [ Vanessa ] Jason Scarborough [ Melanie] and Amber Scarborough, twenty great grandchildren and several neices and nephews.
The family would like to thank, Beverly Huntley and Yvetta Nix at Pardee Home Health, the Nurses at Pardee 1 West and Melanie for their excellent and geniune care of Susan during her difficult days.
A funeral Service will be held at the Hendersonvile Penticostal Church on Upward Road on Friday at 2pm with the Rev. Javan Harper officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, the family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 to 8 pm at the church.
At other times the family wil be at the home of Norma and Rick Scarborough.
