W. T. Hill Jr., "Tee", 58, passed away on Saturday, August 01, 2009 at Beystone Health and Rehabilitation of Fletcher, NC.
He was born on June 24th, 1951 in Maysville, Kentucky and moved with his family to FT. Myers, Florida at the age of 5. Spending most of his life in Florida, Tee graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in history.
After spending his adult life in a variety of interesting professions; from Orthopedic Technician to a compassionate caregiver for the mentally challenged, Tee retired to Flat Rock, N.C. with his devoted wife Silky, finally living in the beautiful mountains of his dreams.
Always the southern gentleman, Tee adored living out his life on the grounds of the Flat Rock Playhouse in "Carolina Moon", the green butterfly cottage of his late mother-in-law, Martha Barnes.
Meeting and making so many new friends only added to the list of those who cared so much for him.
From his earliest years, Tee never made an enemy and had, and kept, so many dear friends.
Preceded in death by his loving parents, Bonnie and Wilbur T. Hill Sr.; Tee is survived by his wife, Silky, of Flat Rock, N.C., his children; Silky and Devon Wheeler and Summer Kole, his beloved grandchildren, Justin Chase Kole and Eli Frederick Kole Davis, all of Hendersonville, N.C.; his brother and sister-in-law, Andy and Celia Hill of Ft. Myers, Florida, the Boudin family of Cincinnati, Ohio, the Cablish family of South Florida and his most treasured friends, Pat Hagan, Monk Eldrige and Richard Davis; and his lifelong devotion to Keith Richards and the Rolling Stones.
A Celebration of Tee’s Life will be announced at a later date.
