Ann Ruff Gilbert
Ann Ruff Gilbert, 49, of Edneyville, NC went to be with the Lord, February 28, 2010 at her home.
She was a lifelong resident of Henderson County and was a member of In Jesus Name Church.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Clifton Ruff.
She sang with the music group Mountain Echoes and loved to horseback riding.
She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, David Gilbert; her parents, Ernest and Goldie Nelon Ruff of Edneyville; a son, David Ray of Hendersonville; three brothers, Walden Ruff of Flat Rock, Robert and Tommie Ruff of Edneyville; a sister, Connie Laughter of Edneyville and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 2:30 pm Thursday, March 04, 2010 at In Jesus Name Church with Rev. Dale Gilbert and Rev. Walden Ruff officiating. Burial will follow at Mtn. Home Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm prior to the service in the church and at other times will be at the home of her sister, Connie and Jeff Laughter.
