Sallie Idabell Middleton Curtis
Sallie Idabell Middleton Curtis, 91, of Hendersonville, NC went to be with the Lord, Monday, January 11, 2010 at her home.
She spent her life in Transylvania and Henderson Counties and was the daughter of the late John and Lilliebell Middleton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Herbert Curtis, three sons, (twins) Bobby and Billy and Thomas Leo and a great grandson, Kenneth James Chastain.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include a son, Franklin Delano Curtis and his wife Mary Beth Craig of Avery Creek; four daughters, Allene Curtis Foster, Jewell Curtis McMinn and Nancy Curtis Maybin all of Hendersonville and Judy Curtis Corpening and her husband Jerry of Tuxedo; ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, January 16, 2010 at the Chapel In The Pines of Jackson Funeral Service with Rev. Eddie Clayton and Rev. Kevin Travis officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
