Lillian H. Curtis
Lillian H. Curtis, 101 of Fairview went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday February 09, 2010 at Flesher’s Fairview Healthcare Center.
A native of Henderson County she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Nancy Williams Huntley and wife of the late George Edward Curtis. She was preceded in death by three brothers, W.C. ‘ Buck ‘ Huntley, George W. Huntley and David Job ‘Tom’ Huntley and two sisters, Catherine DeWitte and Charlotte Ludlum.
She was a long standing member of Middle Fork Baptist Church.
Survivors include, one son Jimmie Huntley of Hendersonville, one daughter Rosalie P. Hoyt of Key Largo FL, three brothers, Rev. Ted TR Huntley of Pulaski TN, Rev. John Huntley of Fletcher NC, and Rev. Wade H. Huntley of Forest City NC, one sister Mollie Leftries of High Point NC , one granddaughter, Sheila Wasch of Hendersonville NC , two great grandchildren Spencer and Rachel both of Hendersonville and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial service will be held Saturday 11 am at Middle Fork Baptist Church with the Rev. Ralph L. Fry Jr. Officiating.
At other times the family will be at the home of her son.
