Josie L. Camp
Josie L. Camp, 91, of Hendersonville went home to be with the Lord on Sunday March 7, 2010 from The Hendersonville Health and Rehab.
She was the daughter of the late Web and Mamie Howard Bryant and wife to the late Iron Camp who died in 1995. She also was preceded in death by one daughter Evelyn Capps.
A life long resident of Henderson County she was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Camp of Inman S.C. and Larry Camp of East Flat Rock, three daughters, Irene Jones and Ruby Camp both of Flat Rock and Ruth Pittman of Welford S.C. and nine grandchildren.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to Hendersonville Health and Rehab and The Elizabeth House.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 2pm in The Chapel in the Pines of Jackson Funeral Service with the Rev. Alvin Melton officiating. Interment will follow the service at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday night from 6 to 8:30 pm in the Chapel.
