WELCOME
Paul Nemec, 90, of Hendersonville passed away Friday, July 3, 2009.
He was born in Chicago Illinois and lived in Wheaton Illinois before moving to Flat Rock in
1973. He was the husband of Betty Nemec and the Son of Paul Nemec and Marie Kostial
Nemec.
He retired from his business, Faith Nursery, in Wheaton Illinois and moved to Flat Rock. He
operated Granny's restaurant in Hendersonville for a short time. He would later open Faith
Associates on Greenville Highway. This business would employ, among others, his two of his
grandsons, Glenn, and Mark Waldbart.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Frances L. Nemec,
Brothers Stephen, August, and John Nemec.
Surviving is his wife Betty Eaton Nemec, Brother Edward Nemec of Chicago, sister Lillian
Kahlik of Chicago, son Brian Nemec of Hendersonville, daughters Joyce Travis of
Hendersonville, Jean Tyckoson of Orlando, Jennie Palumbo of Hendersonville, and several
grandchildren and great grandchildern.
No public services are planned.
