Jackson Funeral Service - Kathy McShane

Miss Kathryn Ann McShane, of Hendersonville, North Carolina, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2009.

She was the daughter of William T. and Elma K. McShane. Kathy was born on January 6, 1947 in Piqua, Ohio. She graduated from Hendersonville High School in 1965.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and her great nephew Chasen Edward Cain.

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Janey and Eddie Cain, of Clarkesville, Ga. She is also survived by her 5 nephews and their wives: Eddie and Dawn Cain of Covington, Ga, Bill and Tammy Cain of Easley, S.C., Chris and Gretchen Cain of Newborn, Ga, John and Nichole Cain of Grayson, Ga and Stephen and Wendy Cain of Clarkesville, Ga. She is also survived by 9 great nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11am. Saturday, May 2, 2009, at Shepherd Memorial Park. The Rev. Debra Gaddy of the First United Methodist Church will officiate.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made as a memorial to Kathy at either The First United Methodist Church, 204 6th Avenue West, Hendersonville, N.C. 28739, or The Sixth Avenue Psychiatric Rehabilitation Partners, 525 North Justice Street, Hendersonville, N.C. 28739.
