WELCOME
Tony Glenn Lyda, 63, of Hendersonville, NC suddenly and unexpectedly went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 15, 2009.
He is preceded in death by his father, Herman Lyda and brother Frank Lyda.
Tony was a loving and much loved family man, known as "Paw" to his grandchildren. He never met a stranger and will be missed by all.
He is survived by his mother Isabelle Nix, his sister Linda and her husband Robert Floyd, his loving wife of 40 years Peggy Lyda, children; Tonya and husband Joe Eastman, Wendy and husband Scott Spanbauer, Rachel and husband Tadd Hall, Jack and wife Emily Lyda and 10 beloved grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Monday night from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at Jackson Funeral Service and at other times will be at the home.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Harold McKinnish officiating.
