WELCOME
Jeffrey Dean Ledbetter, 48, of Hendersonville ,NC went to be with the Lord, Friday,
June 19, 2009 at his home.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, loved to play
Chess, watch football, reading and listening to music.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vernie and Norman Mashburn.
He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Judy Smith Ledbetter; his father, Thomas Ledbetter of Flat Rock, his
mother, Elnora Huskins of Hendersonville; three brothers, Thomas ““Tommy””
Ledbetter of New York, Alan Huskins of Asheville and Wayne Ledbetter of Polk County;
two sisters Christina ““Tina”” Carter and husband James of Woodfin and Rebecca ““Becky”” Hill
of Flat Rock; two aunts, Hazel Ballard and Dixie Sain both of Flat Rock
and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, June 22, 2009 at
Refuge Baptist Church with Rev. Alvin Melton officiating. Burial will
follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Military rites will be conducted by
the Henderson County Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm at his
mother’s house 59 Chastain Lane, East Flat Rock.
