WELCOME
Georgia Lenora Hyder Johnson, 81, of Monticello, Florida and formerly of Hendersonville, NC died Monday, April 20, 2009 in Monticello, Florida.
She was a native to Hendersonville and lived here most of her life.
Georgia was the daughter of the late Coburn Hyder and Elsie Worley Hyder, and the wife of the late Alvin Edward Johnson.
She was of the Southern Baptist faith, and was a home maker.
Georgia is survived by two sons; Luther Hollingsworth of Monticello, FL, and James H. Johnson and wife Gayle of Marietta, GA, 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 23rd from 7:00 - 8:00PM at Jackson Funeral Service. A service will be held at Jackson Funeral Service’s Chapel In The Pines on Friday, April 24th at 2:30 PM with Reverend Zollie Ward officiating. Intermit will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
