Catherine Anders Hyder, 87, of Hendersonville passed away on June 7th, 2009
after an extended illness.
She was the daughter of the late Ben and Agnes Anders, and the wife of the late
Joseph Fred Hyder.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceeded in death by two brothers,
Ancie and Elmer Anders, and two sisters, Carrie and Emily Hoxit.
She was born in Transylvania county and lived in Henderson County most of her
life. She was a member of the Refuge Baptist Church. She was a housewife and a
mom.
She is survived by one son, Fred Hyder of Hendersonville, two sisters, Emma
Anders of Hendersonville and Roxie Hyder of Palm Beach, FL, two grandchildren,
and several nieces and nephews.
A service will be held on Wednesday, June 10th at the Chapel In The Pines of
Jackson Funeral Service at 10:00am with Reverend Harold McKinnish officiating.
Burial will follow the service at Refuge Baptist Church Cemetery. A visitation for
friends and family will be held at Jackson Funeral Service on Tuesday, June 9th at
6:30 to 8:30.
