WELCOME
Sarah Elizabeth "Liz" Engle, 80, of Seven Springs, NC and formerly of Edneyville passed away Saturday, August 30, 2008 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro, NC.
She was a native of Polk County the daughter of the late William McKinley Engle and Dovie Laughter Engle and was also preceded in death by her sister Barbara Ann McClain and her family and one nephew, Marty Engle.
She was a member of Mtn. Home Baptist Church.
She is survived by a niece, Pat Hawks and husband David of Seven Springs, NC, two brothers, Bill Engle and wife Erlene of Asheville and Hoover Engle and wife Jewel of Edneyville; a brother-in-law, William Boggs of Olin, NC, with whom she lived with for several years; one other niece; two nephews; 5 great nephews; 2 great nieces, one great-great nephew.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Monday, September 02, 2008 at Mtn. Home Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Landreth officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
