Herbert Edward Carrier (85) of Hendersonville, North Carolina passed from this life
Sunday, May 24, 2009 in Hickory, NC.
He was born to Wilbur Roy & Mary (Mamie) Elizabeth Carrier in Ft. Lauderdale,
Florida.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years, Betty Lee (Howard) Carrier
in March of this year.
He is survived by his three sons: Michael Howard Carrier of Titusville, FL; William Roy
Carrier of Moravian Falls, NC; Peter Chrisfield Carrier of Lawrenceville, GA; seven
grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at the Chapel In The Pines of Jackson Funeral Service in
Hendersonville, NC on Saturday, May 30th at 12:00pm. A visitation for family and
friends will be one hour prior to the service at the Chapel In The Pines. Internment will
follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hendersonville, NC.
