WELCOME
James Michael Bowlin, 51, of Hendersonville, NC passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at the Elizabeth House after a lengthy illness.
Born in Morristown TN, he spent most of his life in Henderson County and was the son of George N. and Edna Kilby Bowlin of Hendersonville and the husband of Pamela Reid Bowlin.
He was of the Baptist faith. He loved fishing, the outdoors and also enjoyed woodworking and crafts.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Della Bowlin, and James and Rose Kilby.
Survivors in addition to his parents and wife include ; a son, James Michael Bowlin, Jr. and his wife, Melanie of Hendersonville; two daughters, Angela Hurley and husband Steve of Hendersonville, Jamie Bowlin and husband J.D. Huggins of Hendersonville; two brothers, Ricky and wife Susan of Hendersonville, Danny and wife Angie of Hendersonville; one sister, Teresa Sitton and husband Billy of Hendersonville; and seven grandchildren, Joneva, Brandon, Hailey, Dekota, Zoe, Destiny, and Josh. Along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, December 20th at Dana Baptist Church with Dan Blackwell and Tracy Fletcher officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.
He was loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
