On July 30, 1949, the doors of the Jackson Funeral Home were opened to the people of Henderson County and surrounding areas with one goal in mind, to offer the finest in facilities and funeral service. The foundation of the funeral home is based upon two key thoughts, warmth and kindness toward others in their time of sorrow, with dignity and a fair priced funeral service for all.
On July 30, 1961, a mark of progress was celebrated with the dedication of the new Chapel-In-The-Pines. Being of colonial architecture, it blends well with the main building. The chapel has seating capacity of 300+ persons.
On July 30, 1999, the funeral home celebrated it's 50th anniversary of service to the people of this area. Since the beginning the doors have never been closed to anyone. Our growth has been made possible only with the faith and trust of the people of our area, when the need arose for the services of a funeral director.
